Signature Livery, Inc. was founded in 1994 by Dean Schuler and Edward Sakakeeny, each having over 10 years livery experience, however at very different levels.  Mr. Schuler had worked virtually every job in the profession learning the trade from the ground up. Starting with one car, Mr. Schuler counted some of the largest accounts in town as his clients. His reputation for Premium High-line Service is unmatched in New Orleans. Mr. Schuler continues to serve on numerous industry boards, speaks at industry events, and has been a monthly writer for Limousine Digest Magazine for over a decade. Mr. Sakakeeny had owned a successful limousine service in the early 1980’s and brought the necessary financial and business skills.  With their combined experience, Signature Livery was created.

Signature Livery’s superior customer service skills and careful attention to detail otherwise known as its “Signature Service”, had won the attention of local Destination Management Companies.  Signature livery had quickly earned a reputation as the local “DMC Specialist”.  As a result, in 1994 Carey Worldwide Chauffeured Services discovered Signature Livery.  Carey is the largest ground transportation service in the world, in over 480 cities, 65 countries, and 6 continents around the world.  Signature Livery began working as a Carey associate in 1994, and Dean Schuler was granted the Carey license for the Louisiana region in 1996.

Signature Livery/Carey New Orleans maintains active industry involvement as members of such organizations as the National Limousine Association, National Business Travel Association, Meeting Professionals International, New Orleans Metropolitan and Convention Visitors Bureau, Chamber of Commerce, and various others.

As part of the Carey network we are held to the strictest quality control standards in the industry.  In each invoice we send there is a quality control card giving our clients the opportunity to grade everything from the reservation agent to the chauffeurs’ performance.  We are also involved in a mystery rider program to further monitor our service.  We were the first local company to receive national recognition for our Safety Certification Program through Pinnacle Performance Systems.  But we did not stop there.  All of our drivers are currently participating in the Smith System Defensive Driving Program (See the Safety section for details).  We have an on staff Chauffeur Trainer with a very comprehensive classroom, video and on road curriculum as well as an on staff certified Smith System Safety Instructor.
